This was my GRAIL game and never thought I'd add one to my collection, let along a HUO example. It's a love / hate thing with CV, and I'm in the love it camp. Enjoy it while you have it...

Yep, that's pretty much it. This Kinek location is a huge warehouse / storage facility (think parking garage) with a huge loading dock area. They will accept your delivery and store it in one of their storage lockers until you come down to pick it up. They will charge you a fee per day based...
I sold my boss a GTG 2005 years ago for his cottage. Sometime last year the game died and it looked like it was the HDD from the pics he sent me, so I dropped the CHD image on a couple of spare IDE drives we had laying around the server room for him to try out but to no avail. So last weekend...
The trick with doing this on newer games is removing the blocking diode from the battery circuit to allow voltage to pass back to where the batteries used to be to charge the cap. 8-)

Got an email from Larry, unfortunately no plans for a logic probe but they do plan to include a capacitance meter in a later release. I've asked if the cap meter is as simple as a software upgrade or if it requires a hardware rev, so we'll wait and see.
It's really too bad there are no plans...
Twisted Pins is actually looking to pick-up where Pinball Inc is leaving off when James "retires" later this year, so we will be seeing a lot more ramps from them in the future.

I read the other day that Clay has a DMM with a built in Logic Probe! Now THAT would be a kick ass feature to have. Wonder if these guys can include something like that in their software... I'mma contact them about LP and capacitance testing and report back here.

I love the old school 70's basement wood paneling in the office at Chicago Gaming. :)
That looks pretty good, but I think the dark grey finish would suit it best.

I haven't been playing much of my own pins at all, way too many other priorities so far this year. Hopefully once I get some of the bigger projects around the house completed I'll finally have some time to spend playing instead of fixing.
