Did you try putting your game into switch test mode to see if the game detects the ball when shot into the casters club? I assume after a few seconds the game goes into ball search mode and eventually kicks it into the reel lock?

I think too many quickly pull the trigger on Rottendog replacement boards meanwhile their original ones should still be repairable and work for many more years to come. Sometimes new replacement boards can have their share of problem out...
I also wanted to mention that Borygard from the US also does board repairs and I read good things about him over the years on RGP and pinside.
