There was a near perfect example (clear coated) posted on the Pinside Allentown thread. Big money though. I think he wanted something like $2K for it! Crazy
Hi Everyone,
I no longer have an EK but I still have a brand new stencil kit from Pinball Pimp.
This is over $220 shipped to Canada and not factoring in taxes. Asking for $175.
They have been stored flat.
That's about it!
Thanks
I notice there was some discussion way back in this thread regarding the width of the table.
I also had issues with this lifter. It just made it past WPC legs but for certain EMs there was no way to use it unless I passed it through from the side... which sucked.
If you plan to use it for...
Hey guys,
Thanks for all the kind words. It's an exceptional example.
It's been a busy night so I apologize for not getting back to everyone who inquired. I'll be replying to PMS shortly.
To be fully transparent, I already have at least 3 solid offers on the table that are at or near my...
I'm sort of in the same boat. The only thing that sways me in the other direction is playability.
We've all stepped up to a tired EM with uneven playfield and it's just not always that much fun. When I restored my Centigrade 37 and filled in all the cupped inserts and airbrushed all the vibrant...
Selling my BSD. Have had the machine about 3-4 years now.
I'll add more pics later but here are a couple I have now.
Cabinet is the nicest I have seen and has no appreciable fade.
It was drilled by the coin door but a repair was made and looks very presentable.
The machine plays great but...
I'll likely be performing a full restore.
On a game like this the challenge is in determining how much is too much.
My heart wants to make it look like it rolled off the factory floor... but something about preserving the machine's current state is appealing as well. It's a big dilemma I always...
Got a special one today.
I saw this pop up on eBay a few weeks ago due to an old search I had saved. I had been looking for this title for nearly 3 years and had pretty much given up on ever finding one.
It's one of the coolest woodrails I've seen and I've wanted to restore one from the first...
"pure carnauba" or "100% carauba" waxes are fiction invented by marketing departments. No such animal... it would be physically impossible to use pure carnauba as it would be a rock solid brick or it would come in flaked form. Even 50% would be nearly impossible to use.
You want something with a...
Wow! Never saw that comet post before.
That looks sweet! See what I did there? ;)
My cyclone is a mess but that's exactly how I was planning to do up the legs and cab when I restore it and swap in my CPR playfield.
I don't mind a few well placed LEDs in an EM pin to highlight a few key inserts. My C37 has purple and green inserts highlighted.
I'm not a fan of coloured LEDs inside pop bumper caps though. I think that's taking it too far IMO.
I just broke mine done to loan it out to a friend for a little while. It's been at work in my studio for over a year. Looking forward to getting it back home soon. Fun game.
Have you tried Mike Hanley?
He seems to know where a few of these are
Nope. Not at all. Don't know you and, for anyone reading, have never been involved in any dealings with you.
Just trying to make a point that being a veteran doesn't instantly make someone a "good guy"... the same way that being part of the new generation of pinball collectors doesn't make one...
Resistance is futile...
I just love how some people talk about the "group" the "circle" or the "collective" like it's some private boys club.
Sure, there are maybe a half dozen regulars here that I speak with off line on a daily basis and who I may see fairly regularly. But the truth is that...
My comment was really pertaining more to collectors who lurk online (for any number of reasons) and don't take the time to introduce themselves or their experiences. Those that do generally get a pretty warm reception from what I've seen. I've had to make that leap before. It's intimidating...
