FS "Not Mine" Pinball Machines For Sale

I think, even for 6K, that a Whirlwind should come with a 2-stroke gas leaf blower built in to the topper...

    Shipping from Marco's?

There used to be a couple suppliers who would refund you retroactively after they packed and determined the actual shipping costs to them as the amount shown in baskets can initially be exaggerated for "safety." Always best to ask politely and see what happens.

By the way, if anyone here thinks I'm a #4 (offers a repair service where your machine never comes back): I still have your machine up on the hoist, fully intending to repair and return, come visit it any time. It's just that life gets in the way sometimes. ;-) lol. (Edit: for the...

FS "Not Mine" Pinball Machines For Sale

That's exactly the MO that is well advertised for Stephen Anderson aka Mark Uttley and he's been documented by the collector community for more than a decade for the very same type of fraud before. He is a big guy and "talks the talk", is pinball knowledgeable, affable, and is a very...

How/Why is pinball so popular now?

Back in 1978 when I got my first used EM ("Gottlieb Swing Along") as a gift, the EMs in Canada were considered almost worthless, as they were being supplanted by SS. And so a lot of them went into barns as nearly no one was "collecting." Back then I was a very "young" hippy - wanting to change...

How/Why is pinball so popular now?

There will come to pass some chilling of the market, either after another severe recession / depression / mortgage correction (which we're headed for), or the novelty wears off. It happened to EMs and slot machines. EMs were appreciated and sought after right up until about 5 or so years ago...

FS "Not Mine" Pinball Machines For Sale

Mark Uttley aka Stephen Anderson is a piece of work. He and his little posse were the ones trying to distract and steal from my booth at the Toronto Pinball Show and he was notorious in my area (Waterdown, Dundas, Puslinch) for shady dealings and rip offs - IF he could get away with them. Like...

Alien Poker Target Decals or Scan Art (anyone have?)

Does anyone have a spare set of Alien Poker Target / Spinner Decals (or even one I can buy to scan), or a hi-res scan? I know, it's a shot in the dark. I am doing a quickie restoration for someone and of the numerous target decals I have collected, not one for Alien Poker. I just don't have...

Pallet and wrapping for shipping pin

Depending on who you ship with, they will pallet and wrap on their own (and sometimes for free). Maritime Ontario would always do that for me. I simply prewrapped the pin in cardboard, tape and my own wrap (you can get it at UHaul or Staples), then brought it to their shipping station and they...

    Williams Blackout

The first order of business for me on System 6 before I even turn them on is to always: 1. Test the existing fuses both for continuity and value (pin operators tended to do half-asssed fixes on the spot to squeeze out a few more quarters for minimal effort - remember pinballs of that era were...
