I feel here in Canada we shouldn't worry to much, but I've been to areas of Detroit that I never want to see again. Pulled into a garage once to get directions. There was a car parked at the side of the building with two bullet holes through the windshield. I figured I was in the wrong place quickly and took of before anything happened. When EVERY house has bars on the windows and traffic just slows down at red lights after dark. You should go...

Yup, did read it here. My memory is gone. Just wanted to send out a warning about anything for sale in Detroit. It's not just ads for pinball machines, in other forums I read about cars and electronics, they also have had horror stories about Craigslist ads. Luckily, to my knowledge, no one has died because of it, but it could happen. Public meeting places is always best for online want ad buying and selling.

Well do your homework guys and go with your gut feeling because sometimes if a deal is too good to be true it usually is fake or a scam. It also might not hurt to make a post on pinside for a quick reference check for another collector that might live in the Detroit area. Also I noticed on pinside Clay is selling off some of his games.

Having been in the hobby for 9 months or so, the one thing I can say is there will ALWAYS be another one for sale. Whatever the title. I'd be patient and make deals with people you felt good dealing with. No need driving into strange areas with thousands of cash on you.

I have not seen this machine, but I believe Walt has seen it @ Craig's.

Many machines have come to Ontrario from this basement.

I've seen it and played it. However, it's not an interest of mine, so I didn't pay too much attention to condition. Sorry about that. I was too excited to be hauling Grand Lizard out of there...
