most likely a non pin head going to a car auction and doesn't know better and getting caught up in the bidding frenzy . Last fall there was a non working surf champ , worn and missing some parts and a split head box , went for $690 plus fees and tax $860 out the door

That's a pretty fair deal on the Centaur... the part that made me laugh in the add was that the playfield could easily be touched up... yikes, it is missing a lot of paint down the middle! Wish I had the spare cash.

it looks like the Centaur that was up on kijiji 2 days ago for $200 . It was in an ad with a royal flush for $1,500 and $200 for the Centaur . I may be wrong

Well for $200 I would have bought it . I really don't think $1,800 is too far out of line with the way things are today. $4K is a stretch for a II in my mind as the ad suggests... but you could do a lot with this one as your starting position if you had a pf and plastics already to go.
