Hey Mike, for some reason the pics you post (not just in this thread) do not show up in Chrome with AdBlock. For some reason it sees them as an ad. I don't have any issues with other people posting pics. Around 25% of the time yours don't show unless I remove AdBlock. Samething with some of the vids you post as well. Your last two posts here before Adam's no pic shows.

I was told if all goes well, I should have my premium next week.

Stern posted some pics of them ready to be boxed.

Those look sweet Brock!

Finally had a chance to play GoT (pro) at the Playdium today. It was a lot of fun. Nice flow. How much nicer is the LE?

Also had a chance to play WWE. Didn't enjoy it at all. I don't get the wrestling ring. Seems to really take away from the play.

KISS was actually quite fun as well. Not what I expected. Maybe it's the music from music pins that make them all so fun?

Played an LE for the first time this weekend, and it makes a really good first impression. Better than Mustang, better than TWD, and better than ACDC (again, as a first impression based on 5 or 6 games). Not sure how it'll hold up long term, but it's a really strong start. I liked the way you could stack multiple modes right off the bat, and the rules for qualifying each mode seemed to make sense (hit shot X Y times). The upper PF seemed decent, although I didn't really get into anything where I was trying to play that and a MB at the same time, which is where I think extra playfields really shine (although it does look like it's possible to stack these). It's a good theme too, and while I'm not sure about the FMV dots, they may look better with the inevitable ColorDMD upgrade (or does Stern have an "FU" to owners and offer their own HD LCD upgrade later this year)?

If the price was more reasonable right now, I'd be thinking about buying one, but it looks like it's pushing 12k for one of these. I'm also thinking that theme-wise, having Game of Thrones, LOTR, and the Hobbit right next to each other is a little redundant. Still, definitely a game to keep an eye on.

So now that this game has been in the wild for a year, what do people think? I've noticed that things have gone a little quiet on the code front, which is kind of disappointing, but I suppose it's to be expected. There seemed to be some good ideas about trying to balance the game a little more, especially around the house you chose, and I thought that could make GOT really unique, bringing something almost like a fighting game to a pin. As it stands though, it seems that the strongest choices are still Martell, Greyjoy, and maybe whichever one gives the Hand of the King bonus, with the others being much less useful.

The other problem the game is going to have is the same as the issue with Sopranos, and that's where the pin is sort of frozen in time midway through a series. I suppose they already have a dead character on the LE backglass, but once the series comes back there are going to be even more things that diverge. I suppose that's not uncommon for anything serialized: Walking Dead and X-Men have the same problems I suppose, but it's something that a more aggressive long tail on the software side might be able to address.

I still play mine regularly, it hasnt got boring yet. My top score is 2.7bil but I haven't even made it to the iron throne yet. The other day I was at the Playdium store and put a couple games onto their Pro, it was fun but I prefer the upper Playfield and shot layout of the Le/Pre game.

On pinside I saw a list of callouts in the game code and there is a bunch that are not used yet. I'm still hoping for a code release closer to the end of the TV series. But I'm content with it as is.
