Found this post. So. I retired from the army 2 yrs ago after 25yrs. The pension sucks so I'm always looking for a deal or trying to make stuff myself. Usually just share my stuff unless it costs me to make it then I'll sell it. Like pinball machine covers.
But mods, stl files, etc I'd rather just share.
I Played pinball in the 70s when I was a kid and back then when you were under 10 it wasn't a big deal to be out all day doing whatever. For me some of that time was downtown kitchener. Some seedy back streets, I knew them all. The occasional open door of a bar or back door. I'd go in and play pinball. I wish I could remember what pins they were.
So fast forward, I about my first pin in Dec 2024. RG from Shane Jackson. Got a little education on pinball and the community. Since then I've learned a lot.
How to do some repairs, 3d design and print, who and where to buy from etc.
I sold RG to make room and now my little lineup is WW, UM, IM, FF.
Just need to learn how to play better. And finally get my whirlwind working. Dam thing, the flippers keep dying for different reasons.
Here's just some random pics of my pins and stuff I've made. From pin covers, speaker adapter, Williams bass speaker upgrade, I've also made IM 3d color insert mod and now working on a Williams under $50cad shaker motor.
