Several users PMed me saying they had been messaged about an item for sale and referencing my username. They were directed to email a gmail account for further info.
They PMed me and of course I knew nothing about it. Use caution with replies to Wanted ads!
Nothing wrong with buying an electro-mechanical pinball machine! That's what I'd do (as a lover of EM machines).
I'd try posting on https://pinside.com/pinball/forum/topic/whats-for-sale-or-trade-in-nc ; or check craigslist
Only buy a machine in person. Lots of scammers out there.
See this thread -- https://pinside.com/pinball/forum/topic/vehicles-that-a-pinball-machine-fits-in
Several thumbs down on the Dodge Journey in there
Time to rent the Home Depot van
I would strongly recommend connecting with local (or local-ish) collectors for your first game.

Lots of folks from BC/Alberta/Sask/Manitoba on there
Look for molex kk 254 and molex kk 396
They sell kits too like https://www.digikey.ca/en/products/detail/molex/0766500008/26493

Seems like Pulp Fiction LE is sold out! Tickled some people's itch.
I think it's awesome that they had the guts to build a throwback machine that focusses on audio and capturing that late 70s/early80s aesthetic.
You could go further and look at the signals from the LM339 with a logic probe or oscilloscope; or buy socket + chips and replace.
Also inspect the board to see if there is any battery damage!
It's on the page -- https://pinwiki.com/wiki/index.php/Williams_WPC
6.27.4 Switch Matrix Problems
Isolate the problem to the MPU or to the game wiring/diodes/switches
Pinwiki has instructions for testing the switch matrix with the connectors unplugged, to check whether it is a problem on the MPU. Try that, from ‘Isolate the problem to the MPU or to the game wiring/diodes/switches’
