Hard to say not knowing what's going to be released this year, but I'm definitely interested in what I've seen on Dialed In. If the rumors of a new Star Wars game turn out to be true, then this could be a very expensive year indeed...
So did the "sort by votes" not actually work? I went in to vote for Nick on the 31st at around 11 PM, and he was showing as in the lead, and still showed in the lead after midnight, but Cristin won?
Either way, it sounds like Stern is going to run something again in 2017, so hopefully they...
There'll be a certain base cost there, but usually a $100 order and a $500 order are the same shipping cost. That being said, shipping to the US is always going to be cheaper, and you'll probably save the taxes that way.
I got this yesterday, and it seems to be a big improvement. I also picked up the Stern art blades for the game, and they look amazing. I was also impressed with the print quality on them-they're on a very heavy stock, almost a lenticular plastic material rather than a standard paper/vinyl...
Yup :) CPR is the repro playfield. Gold is just the "these are absolutely perfect, until you put a ball onto it, and then it's ruined forever" class of PF from them. It's a decent model though-they charge less for the ones that might have slight printing flaws...
They really botched this whole contest. They should have tied people to a logon from something (FB etc), and just done a single vote per unique ID. You could still have bought votes from fake FB users, but it would have been harder. Would have forced people to use their networks (and get the...
I think this is one of those games that fetches way more than it should just because of art and nostalgia.
What I want to know though, is who is the "best pinball tech in Ontario"? :)
I haven't seen the LED displays in person before, but I think the LCD is more flexible. Seems like the better option for games it fits.
Both are crazy expensive though, and it's a slippery slope where eventually you want to do all your games in them.
Glad it all worked out-enjoy the game! I think most of us have at least a few crazy pin-moving stories, but rest assured that it gets much easier the more times you have to do it.
Yeah, I've noticed some pretty crazy airballs already off that whole area of the PF-looks like a few people have come up with a similar design. Other than that though, no real issues with the game on setup. I did end up making a couple of other adjustments, like hammering the metal outlane...
I saw this thread on pinside (https://pinside.com/pinball/forum/topic/ghostbusters-air-ball-protector-now-available) and it looks like a good mod to have (with a few different versions out there). I was going to order one of these-anyone else have a GB and want to split the shipping cost?
Your second pass at SM didn't last much longer than the first :) I have Reg's first SM, and it's still playing great-not leaving anytime soon either. Buy with confidence.
