Hmm, good to know about those parts. I've still got a bunch of spares on hand, so I haven't had to replenish in about a year, but I'll keep that in mind.

What's wrong with the PBL kits? I've used them for B/W games in the past, and they're fine (although they don't come with the bushings).

I'd add "get a completed Zidware game" to the list of things more likely than winning powerball.

I'd also check to make sure that the mech under the PF isn't loose, and maybe check the coil sleeve to make sure that it isn't just crud keeping the mech from moving as smoothly as it should. Does anything else on the game seem underpowered (flippers, other VUKs)?

I think the "changed code" is just accounting for new mode names, dots, and callouts, and maybe some new LED effects. I can't see them changing the rules-it's one of the things people like about the game anyway. For the new modes, I'll bet the goals are the same. Wonder how long it'll take...

Someone will probably buy it at that price. I've never played it, but I've always been morbidly curious to see whether it's really as bad as people say. Looks like lots of shots are obscured by the big ass boat on the PF though.

What kind of track light did you end up using? I always thought that a track with a bunch of spots on it would give you the same problem as the pot lights, just with more point sources that you could aim a little better.
