Yeah I wish I'd been smart enough to think of that earlier. With a little cash there are ways to get thousands of votes cheaply from multiple IPs but I figured that it wasn't really honest. I forgot just how much a NIB pin would mean to me after all these years in the pinball ownership hobby...

It does keep track on a 48 hour basis. Then after that it will usually let the one IP vote 4 or 5 times I think. It was odd that that one guy shot up so quickly, obviously tapped into a source of votes. Maybe paying some Fivers from India or something?

I have always thought that most 30 year old grafitti was actually authentic and valuable to keep as a reminder of times past. I have a machine here somewhere with lovers initials still carved in. Old gum I'm not as nostalgic about. ;-)

Fish Tales is a great game. It takes a bit to grow on you, but once you start humming the music in your sleep all is good. I regret selling mine (but luckily I bought two and the neighbour down the road owns the other one). It is best as a Two Player challenge game though, best Video Mode of...

That's pretty much what I used to get from Alouette.... yes, we have that, we have everything, but it's on a container.... blah, blah, blah. I think they take your "wants" and then try to pull a machine from somewhere. Very disreputable.

It seems to do it based on browser and how you manage your cookies I think. In any case I posted because the system anticipates multiple votes from the same IP and computer, and I think some people were worried about having other family members vote. ;-)

You know, we have 6 people at our household voting for Adam that are legitimately voting now, so that makes sense why their voting mechanism allows multiple ballots from the same IP Households.

It's a Plug and Plat! I've always wanted one of those. No more of these Plug and Sparks for me. Worth every penny. ;-)

It used to be that a collector would pick up just about anything at a good price, fix and then re-sell or trade it in order to go "up the ladder" to more desirable games. The collectors that desire EMs however dwindles every year and so does the demand and selling price. ZSO what brad808 says...

I'm voting for Adam and Nick. (Their system also allows you to vote for more than one person. It is a "strange" contest environment compared to similar ones I've seen.) I don't see any regulations about restrictions on the voters, EXCEPT to say that they are able to toss out votes they think...

Sigh, my Unobtanium, my "Need to Win the Lottery" Grail machine. I still have boxed toys for it from when it came out and I was one recession short of buying my first NIB machine myself. I'm curious to know why, though, "Most Trons have changed hands by now?" I almost never see them for resale...

Funny I think I missed this thread the first time around: 1) TRON LE (stupid me I had NIB on my radar way back and thought "A recession is coming, I'll wait and get one cheaper off route." Still waiting... sigh. But at least I have minimal debt. I have NIB toys for the playfield still boxed...
