I would say yes it is worth it considering a FF subwoofer only kit is $94.95usd plus shipping and can only be installed in a single game. With this Polk sub you can potentially hook up to two games that are side by side. There was a discussion in frolic's subwoofer thread about how you can use a mixer and hook one up to more games (4-5?) at once.
This exact sub has been on sale for $79 amazon.com and even newegg.com I am sure Futureshop and/or Bestbuy have a sale on this again for $99.99 in the next few weeks.
Was it worth it? I will find out today when I get home from work as I barely got to play for 5 minutes before I woke my wife up and she came down at 1am to see what the hell I was doing
