Well, some of it was last night, but the bulk of it was indeed today, so I guess that counts.
I picked up this Jokerz in Allentown, and then after meeting medvet outside the show and agreeing to buy her Flintstones, I realized that the pin I hadn't even put in the trailer yet had to go.
Luckily, I was able to sell it during the social gathering in my room that night, and it'll be off to its new owner on Saturday. Of course, because I bought it rough and unshopped, I agreed to make sure it was 100% working as part of the deal.
That was a bit more work than I was expecting, but after spending 6-7 hours replacing sockets, burning the crap out of my wrist on the iron, adjusting switches, changing rubbers and cleaning cleaning cleaning, jokerz is nearly ready to go. Amazing what a difference replacing the rubbers, cleaning waxing etc made to the game play. It's a lot more...fun. I'll tune up the flippers after squash and figure out why one of the switches that was working fine before my repairs suddenly isn't (uh oh - right underneath where I was soldering last night) and then I'm feeling like I've kept my word.
Soldering at 2 am is just dumb though. Won't do that again.
