I did something stupid today, and spent money on two "cop lights" for my highspeed.

Found an old post from like September, they guy said he still had parts to build one more ... so I asked "still got 'em??" and sure enough, he did. So I am excited, but disappointed that I did not have a tiny bit more restraint! Been an expensive week, bought a new LCD screen, usb->serial cable to make a tron arcade mod for my pin, ordered a new marquee, ordered an extra screen for a friend ....

I guess I am done for now, unless Brock get's off his a$$ and makes a Tron Shooter rod.

I re-registerd for pinball revolution yesterday.

On Saturday all of my previous posts were deleted, my username as well. I was unable to login, so after 24 hrs with no response as to why I was deleted, I decided to re-register. I was able to reuse my same username, so I don't think I've been black listed although I don't know why I would be. I'm going to assume this was accidental.

But I guess if this gets deleted I will know.... And I even bought a t-shirt and put in for the NIB contest

My guess is maybe a range of IP of users might have been deleted  Hope Derek has something in the logs and give us more insight.

One day, we had quite a few viagra etc postings and I just keep marking the user as spam, and deleting all posts and blocking ip ranges .... Perhaps I was a bit trigger happy, but once I turned the email verification back on, it slowed down .... I also turned on some firewall rules to stop brute force attacks.

I will look in the logs to see what happened, sadly, not all attacks seem to come from Russia, noticing more and more in Canada.

LuckyDog, it was my bad, I went over zealous on the deleting of spam accounts, A lot of them were like "LuckyMan" ,and "CheapDrugs" and quite frankly, In the blur of annoyance with spam, I saw LuckyDog and assumed it was for Viagra.

I'll try to be less trigger happy, Tough when trying to clearout 50-100 spam posts ... Seems that the spam has stopped for now, only lasted a day.

Received Arcade mod v 3.1 and promptly installed it in my Tron. Light cycles next.
Ramp mod. LED it and put on the mirror blades and she's done!

Leaving for Paris, France tomorrow, 5 days in Paris, then drive down to Rodenbach, Germany to play in my First Tournament.

Then 5 more days just handing around Germany, going through the Black Forest and what not, till I head to Echzell, Germany for Thursday to participate in the Epstien Cup, then IFPA World Champs, and then the Kids Fight Cancer Charity Challenge that same weekend.

See everyone in a few weeks.

Got my rebuild kit in a couple nights that I ordered for my tales from the crypt I picked up a couple weeks back.

1) Changed all the rubbers on it (even the pain in the ass ones). Had to take the left ramp off to get to a couple of them. I would say I spent a good couple hours in total doing all the rubbers, mind you I was pretty hungover while I was doing it.

2) Cleaned the playfield with some novus 2.

3) I took off all the lights and cleaned all the inserts from all the black dust on them and replaced any more bad lights I had. Went through about 50 q-tips but it really brightens the inserts up and makes them shine when they are clean. I would like to get an led kit for it at some point but funds will be tight for the next little while.

4) Replaced all 7 balls in the machine. The ones in there weren't too bad but the kit I got came with new ones so I figured I might as well chuck them in there.

5) Made up new instruction cards. The old ones were looking pretty yellow and crappy, nice new white makes it look top notch.

6) Took the apron off and had to remove the silver coating on the "Data East" logo. It was bubbly and chipped off in a bunch of places and looked like garbage. For now it remains solid black but I don't mind it so much. Not sure if I will re-silver it at some point. Anyone have suggestions/tips on how to do that?

Still have a couple things on the old to-do list for the next few days. I need to get a new bob for the tilt switch as it doesn't have one. Anybody know where to buy the bob? Need to clean off/ replace the plexi in the dmd as there are a few scuff marks on it (I'm anal about stupid things like that). Need to remote mount a battery pack to get them of the cpu. Haven't decided if I want to order the 6264 nvram that eliminates the batteries yet, like I said tight funds for a while. Thinking I might have to replace the power cord on it, it's only a 2 prong and I'm not sure why it's not a 3 prong? Still a bit more cleanup to do on the body of it (which isn't in the greatest shape) but I've been focusing on getting the playfield and operation 100% vs worrying about something I never really look at like the inside of the cabinet haha.

Now If only I actually had room in my house for this one and I didn't have to keep it in the garage

Finally got around to opening the Polk sub I picked up a few weeks ago and hooking it up to Tron last night at 12:55am. Only took till 1:00am for the wife to come down to see what all the noise was since our bedroom is right above my pins
