Good deal Walt!

Here's what I'm doing today!
I'm in Chicago on business so I'm taking advantage and paying a visit to Zidware Inc to meet with John Popadiuk and get a tour of his studio where Magic Girl and Retro Atomic Zombie Advetureland are being developed.

I feel like a kid on Christmas!!! :D

Hire Santiago - few solder better than him. I've certainly got the burn to prove that I don't. :)

On a side note - Flintstones is in the house baby! Thanks to Medvet for an easy and painless transaction, and the delivery this am!

I added an easier file uploaded to our forum. you can now hold down control and select more then 1 file ... so you can upload 10 at once if you want.

Also added a "QUICK EDIT" function, and more modern logon, and other jquery tweaks. Enjoy

Rocky and Bullwinkle is back up and running after the weekend. Freshly cleaned, brand new rubbers on EVERYTHING.

The game is now completely different from what it was. The shots have become less predictable, and much faster. Will post pics at some point... the old vs new is scary.

Don't forget to thank Romeo aka rted for coming by to help you out with his soldering iron on the weekend. I hope he gave you a few pointers on how to do basic soldering and you feel comfortable enough to buy one from Sayal. Congrats on getting the game shopped and playing much better then when you first got it.

Work still rules for another 3 weeks or so. I managed to escape the office on Saturday and assist with 2 pinball machines changing hands for other collectors. (not for myself, whew!) Sunday I spent some quality time with my wife and kids, which did involve a game or two of STTNG with my son.

I pulled out my No Fear manual to begin reading up on it for an eventual flipper adjustment issue, and then decided to read the whole book. Looking
forward to reading it again soon, and doing some repairs in a couple weeks on several games that need attention and small tune ups and adjustments.

Reading instruction manuals is one of my favorite past times (seriously). Yes... I'm not well.

D

Reading instructions is one thing but following them while installing a shaker is another :FP:

I'd really love to learn how to properly read EM schematics. That would be a useful skill.

Love reading schematics. It is an engineering influence from way back. Maybe the clear-coat fumes make them even more attractive.

Bought a new LCD screen (V2), a bunch of wire connectors, wires, and an LED UV bulb, amazing results! Love it.

Tron Mod complete.

Looks great Derek and the arcade mod is the next best mod to Eli's fiber optic wire kit which should be released very soon.

Cleaned Tron (again..dirty bitch) and finally fixed my flipper issue on my LOTR. The flipper blades were too close together I guess so the contact wasn't separating. The flipper would sometimes activate and immediately drop or not activate at all. cleaned them with a little alcohol rub and re-aligned them. All good now. Also connect it to an external sub as well. Now both my machines are slappin da bass!

I worked some more on a clients Funhouse, and in think I've got the under PF stuff all buttoned up. I will say I've worked on a lot of games over the last 12 years, and this game I think is the dirtiest one yet. Filthy... completely filthy.
