You know what's disappointing is moving back to Toronto thinking it's the same and immediately regretting that decision. Toronto is dump now, I know 3 people that have had their houses thrashed, one right in front of their kids, absolutely scared to death..messed up for life now. all the cars were stolen of course. The thugs were back on the street in hours doing it again because of bill c 75 and 5 I believe. Never in my life have I heard of such a thing. Also, it’s really disappointing to hear business owners in this forum shit-talking a city where they do business.

Houston is fantastic, business numbers are already unbelievable.. so much so, I'm eyeing up a yacht and I won't get smoked with a huge tax above $100k! And I can keep it in the water year round! Already spent 18 months there and know what I'm getting and I'm absolutely loving it.
I grew up poor and worked my A off to get here, I'm not out of touch. I know exactly what's going down. C 5 was just passed so give it some time for it to get really interesting. C 293 is scary as F! Communism incoming big time. Watch your bills being passed!Again with the anecdotes. Toronto is statistically one of the safest cities in the world. Houston was ranked the most dangerous city to live in Texas, which is already ranked 12th nationwide for violent crime.
Also, a yacht… really?! This hobby is truly made up of some pretty wealthy (and out of touch) individuals. Bon voyage!
That's what I said! hahahah. I'm out!“Communism incoming big time”
WTF?! Okay, I’m out.
Thumbs up! Good luck everyoneCan you kindly keep this shit in your “And if the government sucks…” thread please.

c223 too, just my thoughts. Hope it turns out Ok for Canada
c 63 is controlled speech. End goal.None of these bills scream communism.
1st you posted isare about the consequences for spreading hate and inciting violence, you want that?
2nd one you posted is about making sure underage people are not exposed to sexually explicit porn on the internet? You're telling me you're for exposing kids to porn?
3rd is a bit complex, but it's bank of Canada economic stuff that I don't understand
4th is guaranteeing people a livable income...you're against that?
What does communism to you? All these bills are to make Canada a better and safer place to live. I feel like the little talking head on the screen is telling you to be mad and throwing in words you don't understand. I find it funny that some groups of people are saying Canada is communist and some of the same people are saying Putin isn't so bad; so not sure how the cables are crossed in this thinking, but my only advice is to step away from the screen.
Again you're just listening to people. I want to see your perspective so do me a favour. Give me the exact section of the bill and wording that concerns you the most. I'm not going to look at X links or listen to O'Leary. I read the Bills you posted and upon skimming them, I found nothing alerting, however, if you want to point at specific language on the actual bill I'd be happy to re-read it. I don't want O'Leary or someone on X's loose interpretation, I would like actual words on the bills that are concerning. I remember when AOC released the green deal all the talking heads were talking about how AOC wanted to get rid of planes and cows; I read the document and no such thing was said, it just said to combat methane gases from cows and carbon from planes we should explore electrical train infrastructure, but talking heads on the screen like to interpret it in a doom and gloom way to get peoples attention and distract you from progress and solutions. Again, give me a concerning quote on the actual bill and I'd love to read it. Thanks1 and 2 I'm absolutely against the acts, but if you read deep, it's got some scary stuff between the lines.. loop holes for new immigrants.. Look at everything. Changed and added 293 for ya, watch the x links. But if you don't care, just ignore. 4, there are issues..it's not the right way to go about it. O leary had some great ideas with this. It will crush business as is.
You win, were all good in Canada I hope.Again you're just listening to people. I want to see your perspective so do me a favour. Some can not and will not see it until it's too late... ignore these ones as there is no helping them!None of these bills scream communism.
