When I've had problems like that, it's usually a case that the drive transistor needs to be replaced. You could replace the coil/fuse and see if it works, but if the driver is bad, it'll lock on. At that point, you know to replace the driver as well. Not sure on the exact configuration there.

Yeah, that's kind of what I was thinking you could isolate with the whole display section disconnected. If the game boots normally without the DMD connected (or the DMD controller), then that's what's suspect.

Just take the display out of your HS2 if you want to try it-it should be all the same hardware. You might need the new mounting kit though.
