Some guy tried a scam out on me. My game was listed for $1400 on kijiji. I got the following reply via email from a jasonhartley000123@gmail.com after I had initially replied with my payment preference (i.e. cash):
Thanks for the information provided. Got your details, the payment

Congrats on your first pin! It's a great hobby.
Plan your electrical for pinball machines. Put them on their own breaker(s), ideally no more than 4 pins per 15A circuit (max #pins has so many factors). Allow for expanding to hold more pins even if you plan to "only" have 2 or 3 :). Outlets can...
Looks fantastic. Hours of work just to get to the painting part which doesn't take nearly as long I'm sure.
Do you take steps when mixing/matching your paint to ensure the final colour — after clear coat is applied — doesn't change (become brighter/darker)? Is this even a consideration?
Enjoyed your two articles on reproduction parts innovation. Keep 'em coming.
Nice to see we are getting new design solutions for keeping our old SS games running.
I like that you can go DIY on these kits and get your hands dirty (and save some cash).
Might be time to upgrade my de-soldering...
I want to try the Finitec product as I have seen its fantastic results (in person) as well, and it comes in a semi-gloss which would be my preference for an older game. For my next few playfield clear coats I will end up using both products. It's just a personal preference.

Having said that, I believe this flooring...
It was a pleasure meeting the two of you last night.
Congrats to Walt for running a smooth event. That was a lot of pinball!
Kudos to Mike for his hosting generosity.
UV activated clear coat pen is an option as well. Simoniz brand is the one I've seen around. You'll want the one that requires a UV light to cure it (as opposed to regular sunlight), and you will need to have a blacklight with which to cure it.
Didn't realize they weren't incompatible.
Is it just that they are functional now *without* an original AV board?

Nice mod! Never knew about this movie's connection to pinball.
Makes this art in my gameroom even more suitable. Maybe I need to find me a Genesis to go alongside :watching:
All in jest of course. I was trying for the evil maniacal laugh... 'told you so' is too, umm, boring.
I still recall when I thought 3 pins was it. Then I became motivated at cleaning out that other room in the basement being used primarily for storage. The rest is history.
He's embarking upon...
