The Ever-Widening Circle - One Pin To Rule Them

This was that night back in Dec 2012. Joker Poker and Volley (on my 'SS/EM wall') made a lasting impression on you. Even some diehard DMD collectors were taking a long look. I've been in touch with these guys ever since, so I guess that makes me part of the collective? :borg: Yet I'd consider...

You are right though... some coil stops could be reused just not in the same game. Those from wms early 90s era are taller and have the potential to be reused for wms games from about 1993 on, if sized properly. Funny thing is, I keep all old flipper parts including coil stops. Not sure why, I...

As for the OP, I've certainly stopped ordering parts for games and am currently holding whatever games I have. Any changes in my lineup are trades. The price in this hobby has gone up dramatically in the past two years - both parts ordered from the U.S. due to recent poor $CAN and jacked up NIB...

..and then your plunger travels farther and flippers come up higher than they are supposed to. New coils stops are the way to go.

Red & Ted's Roadshow Interactive Dual Beacon Topper

Now this is what I call modding your game!! You designed and built this from the ground up. I like the choice of isolated power supply and parallel switches. Great documentation too. The final product looks excellent. Very sweet. Nicely done Mike.

Classic STERN spinners - what's the big deal???

So, what's the conclusion? All other things being equal, how does upgrading your Stern Meteor from a Gottlieb spinner to a 0.012" thicker and 5g heavier Stern spinner feel to you?

    My JM Refurb Adventure

Very well done Terry! Your game looks fantastic. And I bet it feels even better to have done it yourself! All of it - the restoration and technical interventions along the way. Not to take away from your finished product, but this is what I admire the most: the courage to take it on yourself...
