    IOS Pinball Arcade Season 1 & 2 14.99

Looks like the Steam version of season 1 is also on sale for $16.99 (but not 2 or 3). I have some of these on the 360, and they're OK for learning rules. I think I'm going to wait and see what happens once the Steam holiday sale starts up though-might be a better deal come along.

TIP We are go for launch!

Hey, if you're going to be an asshole on the internet, at least have the stones to take credit for it!

The Pinball Diaries (what did you do today?)

Nice-I think most of us with kids have similar pictures. Start button is the first thing they can reach usually. That was the case with my son, although my daughter found the power switches first. That made things...interesting for a while.

Looks like you can also just highlight a block of text and it'll pop up an option to reply, kind of like on pinside. Neat.

What should I have on hand for my pins?

Those magnet trays regularly go on sale at Canadian Tire, so keep an eye out there. I've got a bunch of them, and they're essential for keeping screws and such from running away.

    Tim's Rollergames thread

Wow, that's in way better shape than my 2003 is.

What should I have on hand for my pins?

Mike hit the major ones-I looked everywhere for those nut drivers before buying the pinball life ones (since they're pricey and heavy for shipping), but nobody had anything similar. I got away with a regular socket set for a while, but those things make working on games much easier. I've...

So, does that mean any special deals with PBL? :)

    Replay FX Festival

They sold out 700 pinburgh spots in 12 hours? Damn, that's impressive. Good idea to charge up front too. If this gets up to PAX scale, it would be amazing. I haven't made it to any of these shows yet, but once the kids are older, I can definitely see making the trek.

Thanks for the upgrade-as long as the "view first unread post" link works now, that'll make things MUCH better.

    Y nut for JM?

Order it through the playdium store-that's what I did. They do orders from Marco once a month or so, and it's less in shipping than ordering yourself.

    More sensitive tilt

Could you rig up your own part for the tilt that might be more sensitive? Right now the tilt mech is based on the plumb bob making contact with the outer ring and closing a circuit, but couldn't you rig something up with some wire and a couple of microswitches? Think of something siilar to a...

And that Smaug sculpt is still a WIP-teeth to come as well. A big improvement already though!

    Pinball Lifecycle

9 games right now with a 10th on order, and at that point I'm out of room. Then I need to either define more pinball space elsewhere in the house/basement, or start moving games out.

SOLD Rogers Scientific Atlanta 8300 HDPVR-$125

Anyone here need a spare rogers PVR? I just dropped cable, so this box is useless to me. This is the older SA box (not the new Cisco "NextBox" that they're pushing), but it still works just fine, and includes the remote and power cable.

    SWE1

I think part of it is just that it gets pretty repetitive to just keep bashing the central targets to advance the modes. Besides those, there's what, one multiball, and the darth maul battle that repeats over and over every 4 modes? It's a fun game to play in other people's collections or on...

What Do You Do? Promote Yourself!

Neat thread-I knew what some of you guys did already, but it's interesting to see the variety. Proof that pinball is universal! Anyway, I'm the Chief Software Architect for ComputerTalk-we're in the Unified Communications and Contact Center space. I lead a team of 10 developers now (in a...
