It's getting tough to keep the faith... Where we haven't a had winning streak longer than 6 games all year and now with this slump's timing it's frustrating to watch. This past weekend I had to walk away and do something else for 2 of the 3 games as I just couldn't take watching the defensive...
$300 here, and I haven't turned my games on in a long time... that and I'm a freakin' tyrant to the rest of the fam always making sure lights are off etc etc. My bill has literally doubled in just over a year or so, along with everything else that's going up. Except my income of course.

If I could thumb up this thread more than once I would. This is a MUST WATCH episiode. Steve, don't ever stop telling stories my man. You have a gift.

The flipper scoring points is one of two things, one being fairly straight forward the other a royal pain in the ass. There is likely a PF switch that is gapped too close and the vibratoins from the flippers flipping are causing this switch to close, adding the points. If you can narrow down...
I'm also a big believer in keeping the PCB's original as much as possible. Unless the originals are an absolute mess, I would re-work them over buying repro replacements.

Yep, first thing to check & replace is the volume pots on all these old Bally PCB's (not just the sound PCB's). They were cheap back in the day and are usually the first thing to fail.
Glad you got it sorted.

I've gone through a lot of that thread and while I like what vid is saying I lean more towards what Clay states... For 90% of our needs novus2 is more than enough.

Novus2 would actually be a very good choice for cleaning that PF! You will likely need more than one application, but it would still be my cleaner of choice. I have cleaned much worse condition PF's with it successfully.

I had a nice conversation with my agent about my games years ago, and while I could have purchased a separate ryder specificaly for my games it was horrendously expensive to do so. What we ended up doing was tacking on extra household contents coverage by an amount that *should* cover the cost...
How much you want to bet the new LE is actually just a Premium and the new Super LE will be what the existing LE's are now? I mean the LE has always been the feature rich edition... so what can they possibly add to an LE to make it a Super LE? This is going to be the biggest bait and switch...
So, it used to be only one model... then two with the addition of LE starting with Avatar? Then three models with Pro/Premium/LE. Now we're up to four?!? Pretty soon Stern will add a fifth called Super Premium Smack Your Grandma Upside the Head Limited Edition!
This is getting absolutely...
With 2 LCD screens, you can bet your ass there will be a sizeable price bump. Hell, Stern increases their pricing when they take STUFF OUT so imagine what you'll see now that they are adding new technology into the game?

Where you're not located near any tech's the first thing you will need is the schematics for the game (if you don't already have them). Then I would suggest reading and then re-reading the following; http://www.pinwiki.com/wiki/index.php?title=EM_Repair
I'm pretty sure with that link and a...
