That was in fact before tax and premium. Over 3K for a BTTF that has issues... this hobby is ridiculous. (and this is one of the reasons it sours it for me) D

If coils are locking on thats a sign of bad transistors. I'm not familiar with Genie so not sure if the coils that are locking on are driven from the MPU directly or from under PF mounted transistors. You need to locate the transistors that control each of those coils and verify the...

Sounds like the wiper arm in that pot has failed, which isn't uncommon. If you're certain it needs a 200 ohm (or thereabouts) pot, just find any that fits and you're off to the races. (if it's for an audio circuit it technically should be a pot with an "audio taper" which is what the 'B' in...

If you're just checking for strobing / pulses a logic probe will suffice, but there are times when an o-scope is the only tool for the job. (sound boards would definitely be one of these times) D

I'm sure each ring on that level represents a pre-determined angle. Find whatever 6.5 is and mark it with a sharpie, and you can level side to side and set the correct pitch at the same time and you're good to go. (or just use one of the free phone apps... lol) D

Only games I've sold and re-aquired are Whitewater and Rollergames. The previous was to obtain a better copy as the original was misrepresented by the seller (and was bought over long distance). The later I should have never sold my original copy to Chris Hutchins, and I regret it immensely...

But I'm cheap and the bubble level app is free. I have a nice big bubble level at home I can use to calibrate, but hauling that same bubble level around on service calls not to mention using in a game is a bitch. :) D
