    the 2015 Canadian Pinball Championships!

I managed to qualify top 4 for A and ended up finishing 4th in that division. In tough against some seasoned tournament players. Gotta get me some more experience to get used to the nerves that come in crunch time.:nailbiting: I also qualified 4th in classics but finished 5th in the end. In my...

    WTB Solarfire

I've recently incorporated a few 80s games into my collection. They're an enjoyable alternative to modern DMDs and I will always keep some in my collection from now on. Financially, a DMD can often equate to a couple or few 80s SS pins. However, were I to find one more to add, I'd have a hard...

    Stern Pinball: Spike Electronics System

I haven't cared to look at Spike before this vid but I gotta say the modular setup looks pretty good. If you think about it, it's inevitable - the modernization of these systems. Doesn't look very end user 'serviceable' though as many of the components are small. Swapping boards is it I guess...

Dr@No's fun filled (and often long-winded) restorations

The slope and curve of the ramp will make the left portion of the decal hardest to stick flat without wrinkles. There must be some 3D to 2D conversion that would work when designing the decal. You'd almost expect that a slice in the pattern may be required to get it to align.

Swords of Fury Custom Repro Ramps

Yup, watching this and have put an order in for a black upper and red lower ramp. Plastics used for these ramps are PETG and acrylic. PETG is the stronger of the two but essentially only comes in clear. The coloured variations - red, blue etc. will be done in acrylic. Cliffy's in on this and...

    Tim's Gottlieb Dragon thread

I get the same behaviour in my Joker Poker SS using a similar approach. (Pinrepair published an idea to jumper the start button to either credit switch at the diode board in the lower cabinet). For me too, the credits never get very far from max. No more opening the door. Clay referred to SCRs...

    "Dialing In" your pin

Owner groups are around, here's a thread you could find some tips in. I haven't read this one but I'm sure you will learn something about your game, perhaps about your specific issue too. https://pinside.com/pinball/forum/topic/metallica-owners-thread

    TZ Custom sideboard decals

My ceiling is enclosed with popcorn sprayed drywall and I used a stud finder... but a few hooks placed into the ceiling joists made getting the playfield out of the way a piece of cake. I did this before installing mirror blades for the buyer of my STTNG.

    TZ Custom sideboard decals

To each his own but I would tend to agree. For TSPP the cartoon like graphics were dead on and worked extremely well. I'm thinking that colourized screen grabs from the original b&w series would make great raw material.
