Yeah, I spent the better part of an evening with Scott putting it all back together. It's very close, but they need to epoxy the spirit ring magnet back into the holder, attach it to the game and dial in a few other things and it should be good to go.

Send me a PM and we can try to work something out. My schedule is a little crazy at the moment as I am winding down a career of 20 years at one company and beginning another in a couple of weeks.

As Chris mentioned, random points being scored with flippers is 99% just a switch that is gapped too close or an opto isn't lined up perfectly, so vibrations caused by flippers will trigger the switch. Put into switch test mode and flip the flippers and watch the matrix to see if any switches...
Good catch Timbo. Can't tell you how many service call's I've done where just pulling back one winding and re-attaching to the lug is all that is needed... Makes me wonder how many people have tossed perfectly good coils in the trash because of this?

You mean does it matter what tab on the physical EOS switch you have the orange and black/colour wire connected to? No, there is no polarity. Just make sure the switch is open and only closes when the flipper crank gets to the very end of the rotation. If it closes early, the flip will be...
If you need one and don't want to splurge on a new one (spendy) I would highly suggest you look into using the LCD-DMD replacement sold by Dr. Pinball. http://www.drpinball.co.uk/lcddmd.htm
He now offers it as a kit which is great. I had to manually build one up for a client a year or so...
If you use your finger, you are more than likely putting more pressure / travel on that switch than the lifter is in normal operation. If you ever have any switch in any game testing ok manually in switch test but not working in the game, always always always use a ball or the associated mech...
Yes, EOS switches are the breakaway switches. None of these are connected to ground directly based on that schematic, but connected back to the fliptronics PCB.
