The coil tabs for each wire can be anything, it all comes down to the orientation of the diodes on the coil. Lower flipper Based on the schematic, the blue/yellow wire should go to the coil lug with BOTH coil windings on it and the diode should have the banded end connected to it as well...

Are you using your finger to activate the switch? If so, that's the issue. You need to use the ball on the lifter, the switch likely needs adjustment or replacement. D

Not always. I would sit down with the schematics and verify all of the wiring on both of those flippers, between all of the EOS switch etc. D

MMR can't use a ColorDMD like the original MM's do. It's an upgrade you have to purchase from Planetary to unlock the colorizing already built into the software. D

I would say your flipper coils and EOS switches could be mis-wired. D

No these are the newer red LED versions, no high voltage required. Not sure they will work in games other than the newer Stern's though? D

Glad you got it sorted. Another issue for those ordering replacement opto sets from Marco, I have found lately that the new batch they are selling are faulty right out of the bag. (I've had at least 2 sets like this) Maybe it's the same issue where the receiver is just installed backwards. D

The transformer might be tricky but you can get a replacement rectifier from a few different places. GPE has the best one, but Ed unfortunately rarely has stock on them. The Rottendog one is also great, and you can get these easily. D
